This role is ideally suited to a committed, motivated and friendly person who enjoys working with people and has a genuine passion for fitness.

The position is primarily front of house, where you will be responsible for welcoming and assisting our gym members, providing a friendly and professional first point of contact, and completing a range of reception and administrative duties.

​

Alongside the reception responsibilities, the successful applicant will hold a Certificate III in Fitness and be motivated to take an active role in our YouthFit program, working with young people aged 12–17 years.

​

Key responsibilities will include:

​

• Greeting members and providing exceptional customer service

• Managing reception and day-to-day administrative tasks

• Answering enquiries and assisting members with their needs

• Maintaining a welcoming, clean and friendly front-of-house environment

• Supervising YouthFit members and ensuring they are training safely

• Conducting inductions and providing guidance on correct exercise technique

• Designing and writing suitable training programs for our 12–17-year-old members

• Supporting and motivating young people to develop positive and safe training habits

• Monitoring members' progress and providing encouragement and assistance

• Working as part of our team to maintain the welcoming, community-focused environment that The Gap Fitness family is known for
