Can I trial the Gym?
Yes absolutely! You are welcome to trial a class or the equipment for free as a once off. We don’t offer any trial memberships, however, all our Direct Debit memberships are no minimum contracts, so you aren’t locked in!
Do you accept Fitness Passport?
Yes we do! There is a one off joining fee for $79. You will then have Platinum level membership, which includes our Group Fitness classes and equipment use.
Do you have lockers?
We have lockers available for you to use free of charge. Enter your own code each time you use it.
How old do I have to be to go to the gym?
You can join the gym once you've turned 12 years old. We have a Youthfit membership for High School students for $13 per week. This membership requires a (free) program to be completed prior to the membership starting.
How do you book a Group Fitness Class?
Download The Gap Fitness app to book your next class, up to 36 hours in advance. If the class is full, you will go on the waitlist (but will most likely end up in the class!).

What do I need to bring to the gym?
You must have suitable footwear, gym Towel & Yoga Mat if doing any floor work classes ie: BodyBalance, Pilates, Yoga. Also bring your access key and remember to scan in.
Do you have bathrooms?
Yes we have 2 toilets and 2 showers in both male and female bathrooms – female bathroom also has a hairdryer.
Can I get a program done up?
Yes, we have trainers available for program writing. You can book this on our app by selecting ‘Book Service’ or see us at reception.
Can I put my membership on hold?
Yes, all members are able to hold their memberships for 4 weeks free of charge. After that, it is only $3 per week to suspend your membership.
How much notice do I need to cancel my membership?
Just give us 2 weeks notice and we'll cancel your membership.
Will I be charged for cancelling a Group Fitness class?
We do not have automatic cancellation fees for Group Fitness bookings. However, repeat late cancels or 'no shows' will be contacted. Please remember to cancel as soon as you can, or hold off from booking until you're 100% sure you can make it.
If you are on the waitlist and change your mind, please cancel from the waitlist to allow others to move up!
